TOEFL
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized test that measures the English language ability of non-native speakers who wish to enroll in English-speaking universities. It is developed and administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS).
Test Format and Duration
The TOEFL iBT is approximately 1 hour and 56 minutes long and consists of four sections:

Essential Preparation Tips
Understand the Format: Familiarize yourself completely with the structure, timing, and question types for all four sections, as time management is crucial.
Take Practice Tests: Regularly take full-length, timed practice tests under real exam conditions to build stamina, manage your time, and identify your weak areas. Utilize official ETS practice materials.
Enhance Reading & Listening Skills:
Reading: Practice reading academic texts, scientific articles, and passages from various fields. Focus on identifying main ideas, supporting details, and drawing inferences.
Listening: Listen to English-language podcasts, academic lectures, and news broadcasts. Take notes while listening to practice retaining information, as audio clips are played only once.
Master Speaking & Writing:
Speaking: Practice responding to prompts within the strict time limits. Focus on clear pronunciation, good intonation, and a logical structure for your responses. Record yourself to self-correct.
Writing: Practice outlining your essays/responses to ensure coherence and organization. Pay attention to grammar, vocabulary, and using transitional phrases for smooth flow between ideas.
Build Academic Vocabulary: The TOEFL is an academic test. Focus on learning vocabulary commonly found in academic texts and lectures.
