  3. Enhance Reading & Listening Skills:

    • Reading: Practice reading academic texts, scientific articles, and passages from various fields. Focus on identifying main ideas, supporting details, and drawing inferences.

    • Listening: Listen to English-language podcasts, academic lectures, and news broadcasts. Take notes while listening to practice retaining information, as audio clips are played only once.

  4. Master Speaking & Writing:

    • Speaking: Practice responding to prompts within the strict time limits. Focus on clear pronunciation, good intonation, and a logical structure for your responses. Record yourself to self-correct.

    • Writing: Practice outlining your essays/responses to ensure coherence and organization. Pay attention to grammar, vocabulary, and using transitional phrases for smooth flow between ideas.

  5. Build Academic Vocabulary: The TOEFL is an academic test. Focus on learning vocabulary commonly found in academic texts and lectures.

Success on the TOEFL relies on consistent practice and a deep understanding of the academic English language skills it measures.
